Police Report: Lawrence Township

A truancy incident occurred at the Clearfield Middle School.
Damage occurred to unattended property when a vehicle struck a mailbox. The motorist didn’t stop to provide information.
Two vehicles were reportedly racing across the Clearfield bypass. Police were unable to locate the vehicles.
The investigation is continuing into an assault that occurred at the Clearfield Middle School.

Suspicious activity was reported at the Centre Elementary School. Police handled the incident at the scene.
A possible phone scam was reported to police. The caller claimed to work for Microsoft Tech Support and informed a resident their computer had been hacked. The resident didn’t provide any personal information to the caller.
A hit-and-run accident occurred at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. The investigation is continuing at this time.
The Altoona Police Department assisted in taking into custody a Philadelphia female. Police had a warrant for the female, and she was placed in the Blair County Jail. The female will be brought to Clearfield County on the warrants.
