CLEARFIELD – A Hyde man is going to state prison for selling cocaine.

Kimm S. Wisor, 50, 1204 Hall St., Hyde, currently an inmate of the Jefferson County Jail, pleaded guilty Feb. 12 during plea and sentencing court in Clearfield County to two counts each of manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of communication facility and one count of criminal conspiracy. He was sentenced to four to eight years in state prison. He must attend drug/alcohol classes and submit toDNAtesting at a cost of $250. He was fined $10,004 plus costs.

The charges are the result of incidents in April and May of last year in Clearfield Borough. According to the affidavit of probable cause, an informant made arrangements to purchase cocaine from Wisor and his girlfriend. The informant and an undercover officer picked Wisor up at the Clearfield Mall and then they traveled to meet with an unknown individual on Spruce Street. The officer gave Wisor $200 for two grams of cocaine. Wisor got out of the vehicle and walked down the street where he met up with an African American male. The officer was able to see the male take something from his pocket before he and Wisor walked behind a building. A few minutes later, Wisor came alone from behind the vehicle. He gave the informant two clear baggies of cocaine, which were then given to the officer.

On May 8 an informant made arrangements to purchase cocaine from Wisor at his residence. Wisor attempted to contact his source while the informant and officer waited. Eventually Wisor said “his guy” was ready and they traveled to the Rainbow Car Wash in Hyde to meet him. Once there, the officer gave Wisor $200 before he exited the vehicle and walked away. Wisor motioned to another vehicle, which stopped and allowed Wisor to enter the passenger side. A few minutes later, he exited that vehicle and returned to the informant’s vehicle where he gave the officer a clear knotted bag of cocaine.
