Maxine M. Iddings, 86, of DuBois died Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at Christ the King Manor. Born Dec. 20, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Harder) Harris.
She was married to Charles K. Iddings. He preceded her in death in 1982. Mrs. Iddings was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Richardsville Baptist Church. She was a past member of the James J. Patterson Post 814 V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and of Falls Creek Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary.Â
She loved going to yard sales and the Pittsburgh Steelers. She assisted her sister, Ellen Bernardo, with many DuBois Democratic Committee affairs.
She is survived by her children, Marlene Gray and her husband, Ron of Brookville; Charlie Iddings and his wife, Susan of and Jeannie Rankus, all of Reynoldsville; Rose Eck and her husband, Jack of Clarion; Liz Fotta Baughman and her husband, Rick of Brockway; Robert Iddings and his wife, Bernadette of DuBois; and Edye Iddings of Benezette; a brother, Jack Harris of DuBois; three sisters, Gertie Troyan of Butler and Frances Robbins and Mary Ellen Federici, both of DuBois; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Iddings and numerous brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Ronald Gray officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
