Mary A. Danko, 90, of Mechanicsburg and formerly of Philipsburg and Houtzdale, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at The Bridges at Bent Creek in Mechanicsburg.
She was the daughter of the late Martin and Susan (Trach) Lazar, born Aug. 23, 1922 in Hawk Run. She married Joseph E. Danko on Aug. 24, 1946 in Hawk Run. He preceded her in death Oct. 27, 2005.
Mrs. Danko was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills.
She retired from Charles Navasky & Co. as a seamstress.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Danko; a sister, Jennie Osewalt; and two brothers, Andrew and John Lazar.
Mrs. Danko is survived by a son, Timothy J. Danko and his wife Sally of Mechanicsburg.
A Mass of the Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, with Msgr. H. Desmond McGee officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
There will be no visitation.
