Obituary Notice: Arlena M. Knee

Arlena M. Knee, 90, of Mount Union died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at Westminster Woods, Huntingdon. She was born Nov. 11, 1922 in Woodland, the daughter of the late A. Roland and Edith M. (Jury) Graham.

Mrs. Knee was formerly employed at the L. Greif and Bros. of Mount Union and retired from the Millers Diner of Mill Creek.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Union.

Mrs. Knee is survived by five children, Carole Yocum and her husband, Jack and Judy

Schmidt and her husband, Robert, all of Henderson, NV; Douglas Knee and his wife, Peggy of Levittown; Gerald Knee and his wife, Agnes, of Turnersville, NJ; and JoAn Palesano of Norwood; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lucille Pannebaker of Woodland.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George Knee; five brothers, Harold, Robert, Albert, Harvey and Arnold Graham; a sister, Avanel Graham; and her son-in-law, Gus Palesano.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield with Pastor Clare L. Pannebaker officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery, Woodland.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the hour of the services Saturday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Knee requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Building Fund of the First United Methodist Church, 15 W. Shirley St., Mount Union, PA 17066.
