Jason E. McBride, 34, of Curwensville, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012 as the result of an automobile accident.
Born Dec. 10, 1978 in Clearfield, he was the son of Edward “Ed” McBride and Kathleen “Kathy” (Kelly) McBride. He was employed as a salesclerk for Sears of DuBois. Prior to that, he was employed by Cen-Clear Child Services in Philipsburg and had also worked for Fullington Auto Bus Company in Clearfield and J. J. Powell Oil Co. in Philipsburg.
He was an avid hunter – both gun and archery – and loved working on cars.
Surviving is his mother of Woodland; his father and step-mother, Tammy McBride of Clearfield; his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Mae “Dottie” McBride of Clearfield; a brother, Kelly Lyn McBride of Clearfield; half-sisters, Robyn McBride and Heather Kirby; and a step-sister and step-brothers, Jackie Glace and Shane Peters.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Otis and Diane (Ross) Kelly and his paternal grandfather, Patrick McBride.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chester C. Chidboy Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield, with Mr. Walter Fry officiating.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
