June P. Henry, 86, of DuBois died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born April 16, 1926 in Rathmel, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Rentovich) Meholick.
She was married to Marlin L. Henry. He preceded her in death in June of 1976.
She retired from Sears Roebuck in DuBois after many years of service.
She was a member of the Nativity Holy Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church, where she worked church BINGO for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going out to eat.
She’s survived by her daughter, Connie Catanzarito and her husband, John of DuBois; four sisters, Mary Lou Smith, Dorothy Frederick; and Madeline Marshall all of DuBois; and Rose Marie Vrobel of Heath, OH; three grandchildren, John Catanzarito and his wife, Leslie; Dana Johnson and her husband, Jim; and Michael Catanzarito and his wife, Jennifer; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by an infant son.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. -4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Nativity Holy Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Robert A. Yetsko, T.O.R. as celebrant and Deacon Dr. George Fatula assisting.
Burial will be in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Cemetery.
