Clearfield– Two of the Northeastern Pummeling Den mixed martial artists will be competing at an event promoted by Complete Devastation at the Blair County Convention Center on July 14.
NPD fighter Levi McCord (3-1) will be squaring off with Ryan Kloepping, who is fighting out of North Carolina. McCord is coming off of an impressive win in Complete Devastation 3, where he won by majority decision. Danny Podliski (1-1) is scheduled to fight Joe Sponsky, who is also fighting out of Pennsylvania. Podliski is coming off of a hard fought loss in Complete Devastation 3 losing by decision. Both McCord and Podliski have spent the last months training extremely hard to prepare for this fight.
These fighters will be on the same fight card with some other very talented fighters. Complete Devastation has said that this is the best fight card they have put together to date. On the professional side of the card, there are two UFC fighters slated to do battle.
The Northeastern Pummeling Den is located in the downtown area of Clearfield. All fighters are trained and coached by a UFC veteran, Todd Butler, of Curwensville. NPD currently has several professional level fighters, and numerous armature level fighters. Butler prides himself in conditioning the fighters to be the best that they can be, and strives to push the fighters to the next level.
Although it has not been officially announced, Complete Devastation 6 is slated to be held at the Clearfield County Fairgrounds on Sept. 15th. NPD is expecting to have several of its fighters involved with this fight event.
