Obituary Notice: Dylan S. Keith

Dylan Scott Keith, 19 ofFernwood Road, Houtzdale died July 7, 2012 in Gulich Twp the result of a drowning accident.

Born June 2, 1993 in Tyrone he was the son of Timothy and Sharon (Fleming) Keith who survive in Houtzdale.

Dylan was a 2011graduate of MoshannonValley High School, where he played baseball and football, a member of the First United Methodist Church, Houtzdale, and TWU Union #2017.

He was employed as a Carman for Norfolk Southern Railroad of Altoona.

Dylan enjoyed sports, fishing, hunting, riding his ATV, camping and weight lifting.

He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Dylan is survived by his parents, a brother Scott James Fleming and his wife Michelle of Glen Hope, a sister Brandee Leigh Keith at home and a neice Arianna Star Fleming of Glen Hope.

Also surviving are his maternal grandparents James F and Betty E Fleming of Coalport, and the following aunts and uncles Don Keith and his wife Kim of Houtzdale, Carla Swoop and her husband Troy of Glen Hope, Jimmy Ray Fleming of Saint George, S.C., Karen Gates and her husband Jeff of Glasgow, Patty Sisto of Altoona, Dawn Britton and her husband Gerry of Johnstown and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents.

Funeral service will be held July 12, at11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Houtzdale with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating.

Interment will follow in the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Brisbin.

Friends will be received at the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale Tuesday from 7-9pm and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Donations may be made to the Ramey Fire Company, Ramey, Pa 16671, the First United Methodist, 811Clara Street, Houtzdale, Pa16651, the East Taylor Dive and Rescue Team c/o Jackson Twp Fire Company, 403 Donruth Lane, Johnstown, Pa 15909, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
