Police Report: CBPD

1. Police responded to an automatic fire alarm at a local business. Everything was found to be ok.
2. Police are investigating a complaint of a dog attack on the 600 block of Dorey Street at 8:15 p.m. The victim was walking her dog, when two dogs that were running loose attacked her dog. She was able to separate her dog with the assistance of a neighbor. There was no reported injuries to the dog or the victim.
3. Police responded to a verbal domestic dispute on Ulerich Avenue. A man and woman were having an argument over money issues. Police assisted the man in retrieving personal belongings and he left the residence for the night.
4. Police assisted the fire department with wires that were pulled from a residence on West Locust Street.
5. Police received a complaint of an intoxicated woman, trespassing at a residence of East Eighth Street. The woman entered a vehicle and left prior to police arrival.
6. Police investigated a one-vehicle accident on Bigler Avenue. A Clearfield Woman was traveling East when she had mechanical failure with her brakes. The woman turned into a private parking lot and struck the building at 107 Bigler Ave. causing minor damage. There were no injuries.
7. Police assisted the Sheriff’s Department with an attempted warrant service on River Road. The Sheriff’s Department observed a man matching the description of Chad Schwartz, of Curwensville, walking in the area of J G Food Warehouse. The Sheriff’s Department has warrants for Schwartz. Upon seeing the sheriff’s deputies, the man fled on foot. The man was not located.
