CLEARFIELD – On June 10, 2012, Clearfield County Fair Queen, Melanie Swartz will host Queen’s For a Cause Royal 5K Run and Walk along with a Car and Bike Show at the Clearfield County Fair Grounds. Funds raised throughout the day’s events will benefit the Children’s Miracle Network and local causes.
The day will kick-off with the Royal 5K at 10:00 a.m. Registration for the Royal 5K is from 8:45 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. at the Grove Stage in the Clearfield County Fair Grounds; the cost to participate is $20 if registered by June 3 and $25 after June 3. T-shirts will be given to the first 200 registered participants.
The Car and Bike Show will begin with registration from 10:00AM to noon, and end with judging at 4:00 p.m. The cost for registration is $10.00 per entry. Admission to the event is free. The Moore Brothers will perform during the afternoon with DJ Mad Maxx providing music in between sets. Various food, craft, and retail vendors will be on site the entire day.
