Helen M. Bailor, 89, of Niagara Falls, NY, and formerly of Curwensville, passed away Nov. 8, 2011 at the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport, NY.
Born Sept. 18, 1921 in Curwensville, she was the daughter of Mark Burkett and Alta (Hetrick) Burkett London. Mrs. Bailor was a homemaker.
She wed Fredrick Bailor who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers George, Thomas, and Clifford London and sisters Twila London Gaines, Ruth London Barnes, and Isabell London Garcia. She was the last member of her generation.
Surviving are 3 children. Debbie Bailor of Niagara Falls, NY, Thomas A. Bailor and his wife Elizabeth of Morrisdale, and William B. Bailor and his wife Joan of Niagara Falls. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren Thomas Lee Bailor and wife Stephanie, John William Bailor and wife Rhonda, Amy Marie (Bailor) Utley and husband Edward, James William Bailor, and Timothy Michael Bailor and wife Karrie.
In addition she is survived by 8 great grandchildren. Kelsey Lynn Bailor, Christopher Michael Utley, Andy Bailor, Damon Rabb, Mary Elizabeth Utley, Dorothy Marie Bailor, Olivia Bailor, and Braden Bailor.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bailor will be held in the Chapel at Oak Hill Cemetery Curwensville on May 19 at 1:00 p.m., with the Reverend Stephen Shields officiating.
