Ralph J. Kelly, 77 of Palm Coast, FL and formerly of State College, passed away on Dec. 13 at Florida State Hospital in Ormond Beach, FL.
Born March 25, 1934, he was the son of the late Martin and Marguerite (Ringler) Kelly.
He was a member of Santa Del Mar Catholic Church in Flagler Beach, FL; affiliated with the Nittany Leathernecks of the Marine Corp. League of Centre County; a member of the US A1 Corvette Club in State College; a member of the Americal Legion Post 245 in State College and a member of the FOP Eagle Lodge 57. He was a retired manager for the Uni-Mart Corporation. He was a 1952 graduate of Altoona High School.
On Nov. 19, 1988 in Philipsburg, he wed Bonita “Bonnie” (Gallagher) Kelly. She survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife; grandchildren Kaly, Alyssa, Taylor, Michael III, Zach, Emily and Riley; daughter Michele (Kozak) Gula and her husband William Gula of Hilton Head, SC; sons Michael Kelly of OH, Martin Kelly of VA, Matthew Kelly of OH and Michael Kozak Jr. and his wife Josie of Hughesville and sister Patricia Battisti of Altoona.
Memorial services will be held on Dec. 28 at 11 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills with the Rev. John Border and Commandant Jack Bechdel of the Leathernecks of the Marine Corp. League of Centre County officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at the funeral home.
