CLEARFIELD – Area beer lovers should save the date, Oct. 22, for Oktofurfest, a microbrew beer tasting festival to benefit the Clearfield County SPCA.
At least 20 microbrews, including Pennsylvania brands, will be offered for sampling. Food will be available for sale, along with coffee and cookies.
The event will be hosted by Florian Banquet Center, 321 Mill Road, Clearfield, and offer two tastings, from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.
Tickets are $15 per person and will go on sale after Labor Day with full information to follow. Designated drivers may request a $5 refund at the event. To reserve tickets before they go on sale, send a check, payable to the Clearfield County SPCA, for the number of tickets and indicate which tasting session to Beth Hallstrom, 2455 Martin Street, Clearfield, PA, 16830.
