CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County DUI Strike Force conducted enforcement patrols in various areas countywide from Friday, July 1 through Saturday, July 9, according to Patrolman Dan Farley of the Clearfield Borough Police Department and strike force coordinator.
Farley reported that the strike force initiative resulted in 11 DUI arrests and two arrests for consumption while driving. In addition, there were 39 traffic arrests, 16 traffic violation warnings and 11 other criminal citations, including underage drinking and public intoxication.
The strike force consists of officers from the Clearfield Borough, DuBois City, Decatur Township, Morris-Cooper Regional, Sandy Township, Lawrence Township and Curwensville Borough police departments and the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department. It is a partner with the Pennsylvania State Police.
