Annie Meta Allen, 82, of DuBois died Saturday at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born on July 15, 1928 in Essen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm and Else Sauer. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and watching television.
She was married to James E. Allen, whom preceded her in death in 1984.
Mrs. Allen is survived by two daughters, Ethel Gulvas and her husband, Paul and Tracey Reed and her husband, Ronald, all of DuBois; one son, James W. Allen of Penfield; one brother, Klaus Sauer of Germany; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Elsbeth and Marianna; and one brother, Helmut.
Private visitation and funeral service will be held on Monday from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home with Sherry Volosky officiating. Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
Memorials may be placed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
