Catherine N. (Gathagan) Richardson Breznai, 87, Brookville and formerly of Utahville, passed away at 11:59 a.m., Oct. 12, 2010 at the Brookville Hospital, Brookville, PA.

Born on Oct. 14, 1922 in Utahville the daughter of the late David and Ida Mae (Warrick) Gathagan.
Mrs. Breznai was a homemaker.

She was first married to Frank Richardson, he preceded her in death in 1957. She then married John Breznai, who preceded her in death in 1991.

Mrs. Breznia is survived by two daughters and a son; Mary Brown of Conway, SC; Barbara Wilson and her husband John of Myltle Beach, SC; and Anthony Richardson and his wife Sue of Omaha, NE.

She is survived by 10 grandchildren; Vicki Dinterman, Thomas Brown, Christopher Richardson, Lisa Richardson, Tommy Wayne, Pamela Mauzy, Kari Richardson, Laura Richardson, Phillip Richardson and Kimberly Richardson. Fourteen great grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Breznai was the last of her generation. Along with her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Richardson in 2005; two brothers, Samuel Gathagan and George Gathagan and a sister, Violet Dufoss.

Friends will be received at the Kruise Funeral Home, Inc Madera on Oct. 14 from 7-9 p.m. and on Oct. 15 fro 8:30 – 10:00 a.m.
