CURWENSVILLE’S HOLLAND NAMED RRR ROADHOUSE D9SPORTS.COM FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK FOR WEEK FIVE 2010
15 Players named to RRR Roadhouse District 9 Honor Roll
SHIPPENVILLE – A District 9-record 417 yards rushing makes Curwensville running back Alex Holland the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Football Player of the Week for Week Five of the 2010 season.
Holland, who also scored five touchdowns, gained the 417 yards on 33 carries in the Golden Tides 48-20 win at Kane Friday night.
In addition to Holland, 15 additional players are being honored on the RRR Roadhouse D9Sports.com Honor Roll including four players – Brockway’s Mike Vervoort (6), Clearfield’s Curtis Frye (4), Elk County Catholic’s Ricky Pearsall (5) and St. Marys’ Justin Quiggle (4) – who all scored at least four touchdowns during the week.
