Police Report: Clearfield PSP

Police reported an ongoing incident of trespass that occurred in Boggs Township, Clearfield County. A representative from T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Co. of Butler advised the state police that several all-terrain vehicles have utilized the gas well, causing extensive damage to the property. State police were also advised that the gas well is funded with federal monies and that trespassing signs are posted along the line. State police will be patrolling the gas well at several locations. All v idolaters will face state and federal prosecution.
Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 2 a.m. Friday on state Route 2023 in Lawrence Township, Clearfield County. A 22-year-old Clearfield man was stopped for a traffic violation. After speaking with the accused, troopers determined he was under the influence of alcohol. He was subsequently taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Clearfield Hospital for a legal blood test. Charges are currently pending the results of the blood test.
