Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

  • Police reported an incident of theft that occurred sometime between 5 p.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday on Kepp Road in Rush Township, Centre County. An 80-year-old Philipsburg woman reportedly had two lawn gnomes removed from her front yard. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.
  • Police reported an incident of theft by unlawful taking at 9 p.m. Saturday on East Presqueisle Street in Philipsburg Borough, Centre County. Someone reportedly removed a 56-year-old Philipsburg man’s yearbook and fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg State Police at 814-342-3370.
  • Police reported an incident of driving under the influence at 8:39 on Sept. 26 on state Route 3040 in Huston Township, Centre County. A 32-year-old Julian man was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of prescription medication. DUI and related charges are to be filed through the district court.
  • Police reported an incident of harassment that occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. Friday at the Philipsburg-Osceola football field in Rush Township, Centre County. A 15-year-old Philipsburg male juvenile allegedly struck a 13-year-old Osceola Mills female juvenile in the face. Charges of harassment will be filed through the district court.
