CLEARFIELD – On Aug. 30 Joseph Bower, executive vice president of CNB Bank, drew the winning name from 19 correctly completed entry forms turned in from the summer-long scavenger hunt. Since June 21 Scavenger Hunt participants have been identifying these participating businesses based on clues provided to them upon registration at the Bank. Once all twenty-four canvases were found and identified, they were to bring their completed form to CNB for the drawing.
In addition to our winner, participants’ successful in identifying all 24 businesses this summer were Janice Aleksivich, Lori Conaway, Margaret Conaway, Doris Folmar, Debra Garito, Robert Homer, Josephine Hoover, Connie Hudson, Linda Luce, Richard Lukowski, Jonathan Marino, Ann McCracken, Jessica Quick, Ben Ramsey, Darlene Rowles, Glenda Rowles, Sharon Whipple and Jennifer Yingling. CNB asks that these participants stop in to the Main office downtown to receive an item of appreciation for all their hard work and participation in the community event.
“This annual event is a great way to highlight the local businesses in our community and to promote the products and services we have to offer locally. At the same time, we enjoy getting the public involved in a family-friendly community event,” Bower went on to say, “We received some real positive feedback from merchants and the participants.”
If you didn’t get to see the student’s artwork, there’s still time. The canvases are being offered to each of the participating businesses to display in their business. CNB offices will keep their canvases near the waiting area.
CNB would like to thank everyone who participated!
