I-80 Update

Clearfield – PennDOT issues the following travel update for the I-80 project in Clearfield County for the week of November 9. All work is schedule and weather dependent.

WESTBOUND:
• Both lanes will be open to traffic as work winds down for winter.
• Line painting and roadway patching work is possible if weather and work schedules allow. Work would take place under daylight signing between mile-marker 119 and mile-marker 115.

EASTBOUND:
• The contractor will be performing erosion and sedimentation measures under daylight signing between mile-marker 96 and mile-marker 106 in the right (travel) lane and shoulder.
• Outside of listed work activities, both lanes will be open to traffic as work winds down for winter.
• Line painting and roadway patching work is possible if weather and work schedules allow. Work would take place under daylight signing between mile-marker 105 and mile-marker 111.

OVERALL PROJECT:
• Please be alert for lane restrictions and lowered speed limits under daylight signing. Please be alert for workers on the roadway.
• Up-to-date travel information should be available to drivers on the Highway Advisory Radio System (HARS) at 1640 on the am dial.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can also log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
