BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – On Wednesday evening police arrested two people for allegedly having fraudulent credit cards and a counterfeit driver’s license.
According to Clearfield-based state police, Awni Minaya, 26 of Philadelphia and Ariel Rosario, 36 of Passaic, NJ, were stopped due to a traffic violation on state Route 970, a quarter mile south of Interstate 80. A consent to search was requested due to suspicious activity.
Police said that as a result 40 fraudulent credit cards were found hidden in the passenger door frame along with a counterfeit driver’s license that was found in the headliner of the vehicle.
Both were charged and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford. Both were placed in Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
