HUSTON TOWNSHIP – A 22-year-old DuBois man was airlifted following an ATV accident Saturday morning.
Wade Petrillo was traveling west along Evans Fire Road when he lost control of his ATV while rounding a curve. The ATV struck a tree along the north berm and Petrillo was thrown from teh ATV into the tree. He was not wearing a helmet.
Petrillo suffered moderate injuries and was airlifted to Altoona Regional for treatment.
Police were assisted at the scene by Bennett’s Valley Ambulance and Penfield Volunteer Fire Department.
