PHILIPSBURG – A 23-year-old Philipsburg man was arrested after allegedly selling drugs to undercover officers in July and August.
According to Philipsburg-based state police, Benjamin M. Gleckl was arrested on Monday at around 3 p.m. He is charged with two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of communication facility.
Troopers state in their report that they purchased drugs from Gleckl on two separate occasions, both times in and around the Philipsburg area. The covert buys included the purchase of marijuana and heroin.
Gleckl was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Allen Sinclair and was placed in Centre County Jail in lieu of $20,000 straight bail. He has a preliminary hearing scheduled on Feb. 7 at the Centre County Courthouse.
