PHILIPSBURG – A Philipsburg man is charged with buying vodka for an 11-year-old Philipsburg boy.
The 41-year-old man has yet to be arraigned on the charges.
State police at Philipsburg say the incident happened overnight Saturday in Rush Township, Centre County, when the man reportedly bought the alcohol and gave it to the boy. He later became sick and called his mother. The boy’s mother then called police.
The man is facing two counts, furnishing alcohol to minors and corruption of minors.
