PENFIELD – Two Central Pennsylvania men were cited for game law violations during the first week of deer season.
Clifford K. Kinser of Brockway, Jefferson County, and Robert J. Steele Sr. of Brockport, Elk County, were fined while in Union Township, Clearfield County, Nov. 30.
State police at DuBois say Steele parked his vehicle along Interstate 80 at about mile marker 103 and left it there while assisting Kinser in a wooded area south of I-80. Steele was cited for a parking violation and not wearing the required fluorescent orange while assisting a hunter in the woods. Kinser was cited for not wearing the required fluorescent orange while hunting and also for not properly displaying his hunting license.
