FALLS CREEK – State police have turned to the public for help in solving a possible double homicide in Jefferson County.
Early Wednesday, a hunter discovered the bodies of two people along Moore Road in Washington Township.
State police have classified the incident as a double homicide or double death.
The first is described as being a black man in his early to mid-20s. He is about 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 225 pounds. He has short, black hair, a beard and a mustache.
The second is also in her early mid-20s. She is a 5-foot, 4-inch tall black woman weighing about 140 pounds. She has shoulder-length black hair that was pulled into a ponytail. She also had “Janine” tattooed on his right forearm and “Mommy” tattooed across her upper back.
Police ask anyone who has information on this investigation or the identity of the two people to contact state police at DuBois at 371-4652.
