DUBOIS – A rape is under investigation by the DuBois City Police Department.
A rape and physical assault reportedly occurred at about 3:15 a.m. Sunday when a known female was “brutally attacked and raped” while she was walking near the intersection of East Washington Avenue and South Stockdale Street.
Police say the woman was transported to DuBois Regional Medical Center-West for treatment of moderate injuries suffered during the attack.
