Gerald J. “Jerry” Jeneski, Sr., 84 of Osceola Mills died Saturday at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
He was born Nov. 4, 1927 to the late Anthony and Helen (Grundusky) Jeneski in Osceola Mills. He married S. Dorothy (Drochak) Jeneski on Aug. 2, 1952 in the former St. Joseph Catholic Church in Osceola Mills.
Mr. Jeneski was a member of St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church in Houtzdale. He was also a member of St. Anthony Society in Osceola Mills and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #812 in Clearfield. He was a retired truck driver for I.A. Construction, Port Allegheny.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Sabol.
Mr. Jeneski is survived by a daughter, Eileen M. Williams and her husband, Ross of Philipsburg; two sons, Gerald J. Jeneski Jr. of Harrisburg and David A. Jeneski of Camp Hill; and two grandchildren, Anthony Jeneski and Cody Williams.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Church in Houtzdale with Father Scott J. Lill as celebrant. Burial will be at St. Barbara’s Polish National Catholic Cemetery in Houtzdale.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills.
Vigil for the deceased will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
