Child abuse was reported to police after someone alleged a couple had a child in a golf bag while traveling by bicycle toward Curwensville. Police located the couple and the child wasn’t in a golf bag. The child wasn’t in any danger.
A motorist was assisted after they locked their keys inside a vehicle.
A Hyde resident reported their license plate had been stolen. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
The Clearfield-based state police were assisted in serving a felony warrant.
An accident was investigated by police that occurred along state Route 879. A Northern Cambria resident was traveling eastbound when the lug nuts came off his left, front wheel. The tire flew off, which tore up the left, front fender. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
An incident of retail theft occurred at a local business, and the incident remains under investigation at this time.
An incident of speeding through a construction area was reported to police. Police will be monitoring this construction area.

Curwensville Borough police were assisted with an incident at the Fuel On store at approximately 10:50 p.m. Friday.

Police attempted to serve a felony warrant on someone in the Hyde area. However, police didn’t make contact with the person.
Police checked the welfare of a male who was along SR 153. The male left prior to police arrival, however.
A non-reportable accident occurred at Sheetz along SR 879. No injuries were reported; both vehicles were driven from the scene.
An incident of trespass occurred on Powell Avenue. A male was escorted from the property and taken to his parents’ residence. He was allegedly too intoxicated to drive.
Police were originally dispatched to a Brown Street address for a noise complaint, a possible drug violation and fire. At arrival they determined the noise was coming from a vehicle and not associated with people who had a small backyard fire.
Police responded to the Hillsdale Community Center for reported loud music. The person(s) left the area prior to police arrival.
An incident of criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct was reported to police. One male was cited for public drunkenness and placed in the Clearfield County Jail.

An incident of disorderly conduct occurred at which time a male was found highly intoxicated. He was placed in the CCJ.
Police responded to the Road Trip Lounge for a reported assault. A guest allegedly struck a local man repeatedly in the face. The victim was transported to the Clearfield Hospital, where he was later treated and released. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
Someone was allegedly attempting to flag down traffic on Daisy Street Extension. Police responded and determined a motorist’s vehicle had broken down. The motorist needed a ride for help. Police gave the motorist a ride.
An incident of harassment and threats occurred at the Clearfield Mall.
Police transported a male to the CCJ on a warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s’ Department for failure to appear.
Theft of services was reported at the Economy Inn, as known male failed to pay for his room.
Unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported to police.
Another incident of unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported to police as well as possible theft of a motor vehicle. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
Police were contacted by On Star about checking the welfare of a motorist. They spoke with individuals and determined it was an accidental trip.
Police were contacted about checking the welfare of a local resident who had a health issue.
Police assisted emergency medical services with an overdose patient. The patient had accidently taken the wrong amount of medication. However, the patient was alert and police presence wasn’t any longer needed.
Police received a report about a lost puppy. The animal returned home safely.
Police were called to a local business for a report about a child who had been left unattended. The mother returned and fled with the children prior to police arrival. The incident is still under investigation at this time.
A traffic violation was reported to police, which located the vehicle but didn’t observe any violations. Police spoke with the operator about his driving.
An incident of harassment by communications occurred at a local business. An unwanted female was calling and making threatening and harassing statements to the employees. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
