CLEARFIELD – The Staples family of DuBois once again earned the top spot on the 2013 Clearfield County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Calendar as the 21st edition of the fundraiser recently came to a close, netting the SPCA $17,600.
“This is our biggest fundraising effort each year and we thank everyone who participated and helped make the contest a success,” said Executive Director Pam Smith.
There was a total of 57 entries this year an, for the first time, participants were permitted to enter their own photos, a decision that was well-received, she noted.
The top twelve vote-getters are:
