Police Report: Lawrence Township

An animal call was reported about a rabid cat in the Hillsdale area. The cat was transported to the SPCA.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred on Frank’s Lane.
An incident of scattering rubbing occurred on River Road near S.B. Elliott Park.
Police checked the welfare of a male who was in a disabled vehicle at the Wolf Run intersection.
An incident of loitering and prowling at night was reported in the Goldenrod area. Police checked the area but couldn’t locate anyone.
An incident of possible child abuse was reported to police. The accusation was investigated by police who determined the child had been disciplined. Child abuse hadn’t occurred.
An incident of burglary occurred where jewelry was stolen from a residence. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
A fire alarm was reported at a Turnpike Avenue business.
