Louise A. Blakley, 84, of DuBois died Monday at the DuBois Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 25, 1927 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Lake and Nancy (Gayman) Coulson. She was married to Attorney David Blakley, who preceded her in death in 1992.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing cards, reading and fly-fishing. She especially enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting and school activities.
She attended the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Blakley is survived by her daughter, Becky Horchen and her husband, Paul of DuBois and her son, David Blakley and his wife, Amy of Sykesville; her brother, William Coulson and his wife, Joanne of Rockville, MD; five grandchildren, Andrew and Aaron Horchen, Nickolas, Anthony, and Jessica Blakley; and one great-grandchild, Polly Rose Horchen.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Nancy L. “Lucy” Blakley.
Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. and from 7 – 9 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Lance Tucker officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
