BOGGS TOWNSHIP – A male suspect brandished and fired a handgun from his vehicle during an incident of reckless endangerment that occurred at 4:30 p.m. Sunday along state Route 153 in Boggs Township, the Clearfield-based state police reported.
According to the police report, three men were traveling south on SR 153 at which time a vehicle approached closely behind them before backing off. This continued for several miles, and at one point, a passenger allegedly waived a gun out the window at the men.
The victims pulled off the roadway, and the other vehicle’s driver slowed down. One of two male suspects allegedly yelled at the victims from his vehicle. The suspect then brandished a small, black handgun and fired several rounds from the window into the air. Afterward the suspects fled south on SR 153.
State police said the suspect vehicle is described as an older model – possibly a 1992-93 – Ford Mustang. It is a two-door vehicle that is red in color with maroon patches. Its rear spoiler has some yellow marking on it. The two suspects are Caucasian males with short brown hair. One suspect was wearing glasses.
