BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – A 25-year-old Cliffwood, NJ woman sustained minor injuries following a single-vehicle accident at 6:50 a.m. Friday along Interstate 80 at mile marker 126.9 in Bradford Township, Clearfield County, the Clearfield-based state police reported.
She and her three passengers were transported to the Clearfield Hospital for medical treatment for precautionary purposes. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident. Neither her passenger, Moshe Segelman, 25, nor the two children passengers were injured; all three were using the proper safety restraints.
According to the report, the woman was traveling eastbound in the left-hand lane on I-80. Her vehicle went off the north berm at which time she attempted to maneuver it back onto the roadway. It crossed both lanes and exited the south berm before traveling down a small embankment. There, it came to a rest in a ditch.
Police were assisted at the scene by the Bigler-Jackson-Woodland Fire Department, Fire Police, Clearfield Emergency Medical Services and Bigler Boyz Towing. The woman will be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic through the district court.
