– An incident of motor vehicle theft occurred sometime between 11:30 p.m. Friday and 12:15 a.m. Saturday on Utahville Road in Beccaria Township, Clearfield County. A person(s) removed a 47-year-old Coalport man’s 1992 Buick Skylark, which was green in color, from the aforementioned location. The vehicle was involved in a motor vehicle accident along state Route 865 in Reade Township near the Clearfield and Cambria county line. The investigation is ongoing.
– An incident of aggravated harassment occurred at approximately 10:50 a.m. Thursday at the State Correctional Institution at Houtzdale. In the restricted housing unit, a corrections officer was attempting to remove a food tray through the window in the door to the cell of inmate Devonte Lucas. The inmate then sprayed the officer with a yellow fluid that’s believed to be urine from a clear shampoo bottle, hitting the victim in the left arm area.
At approximately 12 p.m. the same day, inmates Eric McKenzie and Laphonso Williams, both of the restricted housing unit, also allegedly sprayed a yellow fluid that’s believed to be urine on another corrections officer in his chest area when he attempted to serve them lunch through the window of a cell.
The investigation is ongoing.
