BIG RUN – According to Gant news partner WJACTV.com, two people were airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital after a house fire in Jefferson County early Tuesday.
The fire broke out around 3 a.m. in the Big Run area of the county. The Brady Township fire chief said firefighters were still at the scene as of 8:15 a.m.
The extent of the damage and the conditions of those injured was not released as of 8:45 a.m.
In addition, American Red Cross volunteers were on the scene of a fire in Big Run providing assistance to fire victims and refreshments for emergency response personnel. The American Red Cross will continue to work with the fire victims as they recover from the fire.
