DUBOIS – Two organizations approached the City of DuBois’ City Council Monday night to plan for future events.
The Clearfield Jefferson Suicide Prevention Team was given permission to use the city park for their annual walk. The walk is their largest fundraiser of the year. It is currently scheduled for Sept. 16 of this year.
The DuBois Soap Box Derby will be closing off the 600 block of West Long Avenue with the council’s permission this coming June. June 9 is the target date, but they will switch to June 10 in case of rain.
