Donna M. Anderson, 74 of Clearfield died on April 7, 2012 at the Clearfield Hospital.
She was born on Dec. 1, 1937 in Frenchville, a daughter of the late Hilary and Grace (Plubell) Bergey.
Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker.
She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield as well as the Catholic Daughters of America Lodge #498, Clearfield. She was also a member of the Craft Club.
She is survived by her husband, James A. Anderson whom she wed July 21, 1956 in Clearfield; four children Theresa Crowell of Halifax, James Anderson Jr. and wife Gayle of Harrisburg, Joseph M. Anderson and wife Ruby of Clearfield and David P. Anderson and wife Patty of Clearfield; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters Delores Zwolski of Curwensville and Annette Hugney of Frenchville; and two brothers Richard S. Bergey and wife Virginia of Morrisdale and Franklin H. Bergey and companion Norma Verbeck of Philipsburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law Vickie Witters Anderson; a son-in-law Randy Crowell; a sister Jean Agnes Bergey; three brothers, Robert, James A. and Burton Bergey; and a brother-in-law Ed Zwolski.
Mass of Christian burial will be said at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Msgr. Henry L. Krebs as celebrant. A Committal service will be held on Wednesday at 2 PM in the Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Frenchville.
Friends will be received at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9-9:30 p.m.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Saint Francis Church, 212 South Front Street, Clearfield .
