Edward F. Duttry, 70, of DuBois died Friday at the DuBois Nursing Home. Born May 10, 1941, he was the son of Lorraine and Josephine (Eddinger) Duttry. His mother survives.
Mr. Duttry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was a saw mill operator for many years in the area.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in DuBois. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and trapping.
He was married to Jean E. (Mohney) Duttry. She preceded him in death in 2010.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Duttry of Penfield, Jeffrey Duttry and his wife, Amanda and Dolly Marshall, both of DuBois, and Karen Duttry of Big Run, one brother and one sister, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, his wife and two sisters.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with Fr. David Foradori as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Catherine’s Cemetery.
