CLEARFIELD – While the drug treatment center Discovery House was ordered to cease operations in Pike Township, they recently received all of the permits they need to begin construction of their Lawrence Township facility.
According to Hope Martin, code enforcement officer for Lawrence Township, all of their permits are up to date. When construction might begin is unknown. The occupancy permit will be handled by a different entity than the one who did the Pike Township site, Guardian Inspection.
The new site will be along Airport Road, in the vicinity of the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop and the Clearfield-Lawrence Airport.
