Betty L. Woods, 83, of West Decatur passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at her home.
Born July 9, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Quick.
She was a homemakers and was a member of the Fst Church of the Nazarene, Philipsburg, and a member of the Old Time Gospel Group.
On July 1, 1963 she wed Burton L. Woods.
She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mary Ann Lannen and her husband James of Morrisdale, Barbara Woods of Milwaukee, WI, Deborah Woods of West Palm Beach, FL; two sons, Gerald Quick of Brisbin and Calvin Woods of DuBois; and two sisters, Shirley Knepp and her husband David of Clearfield and Eleanor Doran and her husband William of North Carolina. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Howard, Elmer, Donald and Richard.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, PA with the Pastor John Versaw officiating. Burial will be held in the Umbria Cemetery, Osceola Mills.
Friends will be received on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
