A judge is hearing arguments about the amount of information former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky should receive in advance of his child sex abuse trial, according to GantDaily.com news partner WJAC-TV.
These arguments and Monday’s pre-trial hearing are concerning the “bill of particulars” about the 10 purported victims who the attorney general’s office provided Sandusky’s attorney with two weeks ago.
Defense attorney Joe Amendola wants more specific information about where and when alleged crimes occurred as well as the names of people who were present or nearby. He says that information may help him develop defenses based on alibi, the statute of limitations, double jeopardy or some other grounds.
The 68-year-old Sandusky is not at the hearing.
