PHILIPSBURG – A horse was killed as a result of being in the wrong place at the wrong time on Saturday morning.
According to Clearfield-based state police, Kraig Kephart of Houtzdale was traveling east on state Route 2007 when he struck and killed a horse that was on the roadway.
Kephart reported no injuries.
The owner of the horse is unknown.
