David K. Reed, 65, of DuBois died Thursday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Born Nov. 30, 1946, he was the son of the late Francis K. and Mary C. (Clark) Reed.
Mr. Reed worked at Hallstrom Construction and retired after 30 years of service. He was a member of the former St. John’s Lutheran Church of Oklahoma and the Penfield Fireman’s Club. He was a life member of the Sandy Township Volunteer Fire Department Oklahoma Station 37.
On Oct. 30, 1971, in DuBois, he married Emily C. Shaffer, who survives him.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Sunday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Durr officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
