CURWENSVILLE – A Curwensville convenience store clerk apparently was not minding the store when Curwensville Borough Police were called to check on her welfare.
Police report responding to the upper Uni-Mart and finding a clerk passed out and laying on the cash register. Officers said the woman was also found to be highly intoxicated and had to be taken to Clearfield Hospital due to her condition.
Police did not say what was taken, but have reported that retail theft charges are pending in the case.
