GRAMPIAN – An Altoona man faces aggravated assault charges after an incident in Stronach on Wednesday morning.
Wade Conrad, 23, and another Altoona man became engaged in an argument outside of the Discovery House in Pike Township, according to Clearfield-based state police. The two men then departed the drug treatment facility in separate vehicles. Conrad is reported to have pulled in front of the other man at an intersection in Stronach.
Once the men were stopped, both got out of their vehicles and Conrad allegedly struck the other man in face, breaking his nose. The other man required stitches in his forehead and nose.
After the altercation, Conrad fled the scene.
According to Magisterial District Judge Richard Ireland’s office, Conrad is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 24.
