KNOX TOWNSHIP – A 42-year-old Olanta woman was flown from the scene of a single-vehicle accident at 7:25 a.m. Friday along state Route 453 in Knox Township.
The Clearfield-based state police identified the accident victim as Lori Spencer-Herman, 42, of Olanta. She sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident.
According to the report, Spencer-Herman was traveling north on SR 453 at an unsafe speed. Her vehicle traveled across a patch of ice and spun out of control.
Her vehicle exited the roadway and struck an embankment, where it overturned. Spencer-Herman was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Spencer-Herman will be cited for a vehicle equipment violation.
