PHILIPSBURG – Philipsburg-based state police responded to a spray painting in-progress and caught three suspects in the crimes.
According to the report, police were called out to the Philipsburg-Osceola Senior High School for the spray painting in progress Thursday night. When troopers arrived the vandals were gone. After interviewing witnesses and getting a description of the vandals, police later located three teenagers on South Fourth Street. The suspects consisted of an 18-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman, and a 16-year-old boy.
The investigation revealed that not only was the senior high school vandalized, but the junior high school was as well.
Police stated that charges are pending against the three suspects.
